Comparte is a non-profit organisation that works to improve the livelihoods and living conditions of artists and artisans in Chile by promoting and exporting their products on their behalf. The range of products includes jewellery, home decor and accessories made from materials such as glass, wood, metal and textiles.
The organisation supports small and medium-sized producers by ensuring that artisans receive a fair wage and by providing support in relation to:
- product design and development
- technical assistance in the form of training in production and management techniques
- product promotion and export.
