FAR FETCHED

Far Fetched creates jewellery that is fun, creative and heartfelt. Established in 1982 in the US, the company works closely with independent skilled artisans in Taxco, Mexico, in a cottage industry setting.

Far Fetched is commited to preserving the tradition of silversmithing and to providing support to their artisans in a number of practical ways.

The company provides a fully-equipped workshop in Taxco which artisans can use at no charge and provides tools on loan for artisans to use in their own workshops.

As well as promoting the artisans' jewellery to a worldwide market, the company provides design and technical advice and support, training on new production techniques and interest free loans to enable artsans to further develop their businesses.

In addition, Far Fetched has established an education fund to provide education opportunities for the children of its artisans.
