Musana means Sunshine in Luganda and the different shapes, sizes and colours in this necklace represent the many different people and cultures coming together to add light to the world. These beautiful beads are made by cutting recycled paper into thin strips and hand-rolling each strip into a bead which is coated with clear sealer to give it protection and a gloss finish.
